Are Twitter Bookmarks Public?
Please don't let it be so.
Twitter Bookmarks, introduced in 2018, are a novel way to save interesting tweets to be read later. Unlike the Like feature, Bookmarks have been private by default.
So, are Twitter Bookmarks public?
Sort of.
After the acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk and a group of investors, the platform experienced several changes to its feature roadmap.
For the first time in a long time, the Bookmarks feature started to get more attention.
In February 2023, Twitter announced that the number of times of a tweet had been Bookmarked would now be public, next to the number of Likes, Views, Comments, and Retweets.
Fortunately, while the profiles of accounts that Liked a tweet are public, Twitter does not show who Bookmarked a tweet.
So, for now, that information is still private.
