Decentralized Twitter

Bluesky is a decentralized social app. Developed by Jack Dorsey, one of the co-founders of Twitter, it’s being built on a custom-built open-source framework called the AT Protocol, which basically means anybody can see what is being built and how.

Bluesky functions a lot like Twitter in the early days and is in invite-only beta mode at the moment. Because it’s still so early, it lacks many of the features that Twitter eventually developed such as Spaces, DMs, and Bookmarks.

Twitter bookmarks, and (more importantly) the Dewey Chrome extension has been a game-changer for me when it comes to "doing research" 🤩
I have used Dewey to organize bookmarks from *the other site* for a while. They've been expanding to other platforms, including LinkedIn, and now have developed an option to bookmark Bluesky posts (which is great since Bluesky hasn't introduced that feature yet!) More info 👇
