In this video, I'm going to walk you through how to use Dewey's new Global Bookmarks feature.

Global Bookmarks are—think of it as any web page, any video you find on the web—you can now pull into Dewey as a bookmark. These work similarly to bookmarks that you might have in your browser, like Chrome. We actually allow you to pull in your Chrome extension bookmarks into Dewey, and I'll walk you through how to do that.

The first step is to make sure you have the correct version of the Chrome extension installed. For our purposes, we're looking for version 5.28 or greater. If you have that installed, you'll go into **Settings** and then go to **Connect**.

Here, you'll see the bookmark icon. It's different from all the other social media website icons—this is just a regular, generic bookmark icon. You'll see that I need to click the button that says **Enable**. I'll give it the permissions that it's asking for and then hit **Sync**. What that’s doing now is pulling in all of my Chrome extension bookmarks.

Let’s go back to the dashboard, refresh the page, and see if they’ve been pulled in. I can do this quickly in two different ways:

1. I can look at the filters on the left-hand side and click on **Source**. You’ll see I have an option for X, BlueSky, and LinkedIn, but I want to just click on **Global Bookmarks**. It looks like my bookmark from Chrome has pulled in.

2. The other way to do this is through the **Accounts Filter** right on top. This will show all the different accounts from various user profiles that you have connected. These can be from different social media sites or multiple accounts from the same site. They will show up here, and you can select all or unselect all to display only the ones you want to see.

For the next part of this video, I’m going to show you how to save any web page to Dewey. Let’s just open up a web page and click on an article.

Okay, I want to pull this in, so I right-click. You see now I have the option that says **Add to Dewey**. Once I click **Add to Dewey**, it’ll say **Bookmark Added** in a small popup. I can add any notes, such as “note for later.” I save that, and when I go back to Dewey, you’ll see that I’m toggled to only look at my Chrome Global Bookmarks view as opposed to all the bookmarks.

We’ll see that the new article I just pulled in is showing up. When I click into it, I can see the note that I wrote before: “note for later.”
